On the 19th of April we will be leaving from San Francisco, dipping our bikes in the Pacific Ocean and starting our trip east, to Virginia Beach.

We plan on camping as much as possible along the way to cut down on lodging costs, as we can not afford a hotel every night. We will be calling ahead to the towns we plan on stopping in, in the hopes of finding a place to pitch our tent (churches, colleges, your front yard!)

The map shown below is a rough estimate of the route we will be taking across the country. We will soon have a list of towns we will be stopping in.
